Urban City Youth Chairman of The Board is Ernie Singleton, owner of entertainment consulting company, Singleton Entertainment Corp (S.E.C.), which works across the board in services including artist and label multi-level marketing campaigns, artist development, brand marketing, music promotion, licensing, and submission. Singleton has been instrumental in the success of huge music legends such as Mary J. Blige, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, New Edition, Jodeci, Teddy Riley, Al B. Sure, Brooke Valentine. As well as the success of many struggling labels turned globally known industry powerhouses. Independent label, Ruthless Records went from $50,000 to $16 million with the leading hand of Ernie Singleton.

Singleton was also a key playmaker in transforming Warner Bros from #7 on industry rankings to holding the #1 spot, just three years after his arrival. Singleton later became the President of Urban Music, MCA Records and the winner of the 2004 Living Legends Award. If this wasn’t enough, he also took part in molding careers of some of the most beloved artists such as: Sean “Diddy” Combs, Quincy Jones, Prince, Gladys Knight, Patti LaBelle, Miles Davis, Chaka Khan, and Madonna. Ernie plans to properly leverage his influence, experience, and track record to help chart change in the lives of some of our distinguished qualified young students through the partnership of the Urban City Youth program.
